My name is Dave Sargent, Coach Sargent.  I am excited to start a new team for the next 7 years.  A little about myself, I do not have a son the team.  I got talked into coaching football  from parents when I coached my daughter and theirs in basketball. I have been an Assistant and Head Coach with Chesterfield for the last 6 years. 

          I am very focused on teaching the fundamentals, team unity and playing time for everyone.  My favorite saying is   “No spectator player that is the parents job”.  Of course not knowing any of the young men I do not know how we do but I hope everyone judges the season like me;  not by the record but how everyone gets better and grows.  I had a season early on where we only won a few games,  but everyone got better to where with the same players we went undefeated the next season.
